About London
Riverside BID
We are creating an environment that supports our Members today and attracts the investment, talent and technologies that will secure the prosperity of the area tomorrow.
Our Vision
This means an industrial zone that is fit for the business challenges of the next 20 years and beyond, and that works for both traditional and emerging business models.
An industrial zone that offers a safe and attractive physical environment with excellent transport links and in which businesses of all sizes can thrive.
We aim to represent our business community with a coordinated voice and to advocate the principles of financial, social and environmental sustainability.
For our third term, businesses have confirmed their number one priority continues to be safety and security for their premises and their employees, 24-hours a day, 365 days of the year.
Then come the second priorities of a well maintained and clean physical environment, and better public transport accessibility for staff and visitors into the estates.
In addition to these we are looking ahead to protecting this industrial area as an important employment zone, where traditional and new business models can co-exist; and where established firms and start-ups can collaborate and innovate.
Where we are
We are located in Havering, on the Essex/East London boundary along the A13 and just inside the M25.
For businesses, the connections are second to none, with the new housing zone and rail station on the C2C line at Beam Park, M25/A13 links in and out of London, and the new industry and tech hubs of the Centre of Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence (CEME) and SEGRO’s substantial new developments.
