Updated information on car and van scrappage scheme for businesses
Transport for London Scrappage Scheme
February 2020
Scrappage scheme contributions have changed since the scheme was first introduced.
In 2019 the Mayor of London introduced daily charges for polluting vehicles entering central London. These charges apply to the "Ultra Low Emission Zone" (ULEZ) and are designed to reduce dangerous pollution levels. You can check which areas are in the ULEZ here
To help businesses invest in new or less polluting vehicles TfL has set up a scrappage scheme for eligible businesses, with up to 50 employees and charities.
You can apply for funds to scrap up to three older, more polluting vans and charity minibuses and switch to cleaner vehicles.
The first step is to know if your vehicle(s) are compliant, which you can do here, simply by putting in your vehicle registration numbers ULEZ standards for vans and minibuses.
And you can find full information on what contributions towards new vehicles you can get here on TfL's website here TfL scrappage scheme
