Tree Management and Maintenance

August 2023

 

Tree management is an important part of the maintenance schedule for the beautiful CEME Campus, whose trees include Maples, Chestnuts and Ashes.

With over 40 large trees these can grow to obstruct walkways, car parking and signs, as well as cause damage to buildings, pathways and other infrastructure.

The BID has made a contribution to this year's maintenance, which includes reducing height and lifting canopies, that will ensure continued safety for all visitors, and encourage better growth groing forward.  Sadly, some tree removal is also also required with a few trees falling foul of blight or fungal infections.
